New York Pizza and Pasta Company
Originally located on Route 14 in Canterbury, CT, New York Pizza and Pasta Company officially opened it’s doors to customers on October 2, 1999.
Being the only Italian style pizzeria – in an area riddled with pizzerias predominantly serving Greek style pizza – was a great advantage. High demand for our signature thin crust pizzas forced owners Jimmy Menacho and Jamie LeSage to move their business to a bigger and better location.
They decided to move to Route 12 in Plainfield, CT on Novemeber 11, 2005. This was a great move, for it was not too far away, which allowed old customers to keep coming in for their favorites. And it allowed for new customers to discover thin crust pizza. The new location just so happened to be on one of the busiest roads in Plainfield, which helped more people than we could have hoped for to come in and fall in love with our food.
The move not only expanded our clientele but also our menu, our seating areas, and allowed us to break into the bar scene. Our bar is not equipped with any hard alcohol but our extensive beer list more than makes up for this. We currently carry 15 different drafts and around 90 bottled beers. We are open 7 days a week, so please come down and check us out. We can’t wait to meet you.
